Lacertamon is a lizard digimon that has a strong fire affinity. It's body has a few scales and a tail that can be peeled off and grew back, preferably removed when damaged.
Despite he stands, he prefers crawling on the ground to move faster. He also has a lesser-used flight capability that could only be achieved for a short distance with a run.

Lacertamon acts like an obedient child to Hiro Sazaki, despite his partner is the bigger child, whose rage and digivice empowers the madness and raging flames within him. Otherwise he is a docile digimon with easily predictable moves, but the child-like characteristics makes him hard to control.
